"Server Could Not Be Reached" although I have an Internet connection
#1

I am a new user of Interactive Rosetta, I use the software as guided in the tutorial. But when I want to "Thread" my protein, it came up with the message "Server Could Not Be Reached". I have already tried with several different Internet connection, but it still came up with this message. May I know how can I solve this problem? Thank you!

Description of the message:

The comparative modeling job could not sent to the server! Verify that you have an Internet connection and that the server is running.

Hi there!  I'm the current person in charge of InteractiveROSETTA.  What protocol are you using?  For most of the ones involving servers, you have to first designate a server to connect to.  You can configure the server you're connecting to by clicking the S button in the Sequence Viewer (the bottom window).  Currently, you have to configure your own server for running InteractiveROSETTA jobs or run them on localhost.  I'm currently working on a tutorial to make this server setup simpler, but there are instructions for setting up the server in the server directory of your InteractiveROSETTA installation.

I look forward to hearing back from you,

Benjamin
