Rosetta Commons Opens Applications for 2025 Biosecurity Fellow

Rosetta Commons is now accepting applications for our next Biosecurity Fellow! This unique 12-month fellowship offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of computational protein design and biosecurity policy. Fellows will engage with leading scientists and contribute to the responsible development of AI-enabled design tools.

The inaugural fellowship led to events like the Responsible Biodesign Workshop and engagement with U.S. policy discussions on AI safety. The next fellow will shape their own agenda and help deepen the scientific community’s role in emerging biosecurity conversations.

The role is fully remote with funding for lab visits and conference travel. Applicants should have experience in biosecurity or policy, familiarity with computational biology, and strong communication skills.
