Registration open: Immunogen design workshop at Vanderbilt

The Meiler Lab at Vanderbilt University will host an in-person workshop, Computationally Guided Immunogen Design with Rosetta and ML Tools, on April 13–15, 2025. The program is intended for academic and industry researchers seeking structured, hands-on training in computational immunogen design.

What the workshop covers

Over three days, participants will work through guided tutorials focused on modeling, protein design, and immunogen development workflows.

Sessions emphasize practical application: running calculations, interpreting results, and understanding how computational methods integrate into ongoing research projects.

Format and structure

The format is intentionally small and interactive. Instructors will be available throughout the workshop to answer questions, troubleshoot analyses, and discuss how the tools apply to participants’ specific scientific problems.

Time is built in for discussion, reflection, and connecting methods to real research use cases.

Logistics

Attendees will have access to computers preconfigured with the necessary software, along with workshop materials, lunch, and refreshments. The goal is to reduce setup barriers so participants can focus on learning and implementation.

The workshop centers on Rosetta and incorporates relevant machine learning tools used in immunogen and protein design. Rather than presenting high-level overviews, the program focuses on core workflows, practical considerations, and reproducible approaches that participants can continue using after the event.
