Summer RosettaCon 2025 – Registration open!
We are pleased to announce that Summer RosettaCon 2025 will take place at Suncadia Resort in Washington from August 4 to 7, 2025. Registration is now open!
The conference will start in the late afternoon on Monday and will finish late in the evening on Wednesday. Thursday, after breakfast, will be our usual hike or activity day. Pre-RosettaCon will not take place as a separate meeting, as the technical talks, discussions, and tutorials will be incorporated into the program. View a detailed schedule HERE.
REGISTRATION
Registration is now open at www.rosettacon.org. Follow each step carefully to ensure a correct registration.
Note: The early bird registration deadline is June 1, 2025.
Registrations will close on July 6, 2025.
SCIENTIFIC PANEL SUBMISSION:
New for 2025: This year’s Summer RosettaCon will feature thematic scientific panels instead of individual abstract submissions. If you’re interested in organizing or joining a panel, you can connect with others on the Slack channel #src25_panels and/or express your interest on this Google Sheet (link). You can submit your panel using this Google Form (link). Detailed guidelines can be found here (link). A Template of a panel abstract can be found here (link).
The deadline for panel submissions is June 1, 2025.

AIRFARE
Each attendee is responsible for booking and paying for their airfare. Inquire about reimbursements with your PI and your home institution. We suggest booking your airfare as soon as possible to avoid price increases. If you’re applying for a travel grant, our travel agent will book your flights.
TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM SUNCADIA
Transportation will be provided via a third-party Shuttle service. Shuttles will run on a schedule on Aug 4th and 7th, and a sign-up link will be communicated in the following weeks. The deadline for signing up for your shuttle is July 22.
Since Butler is a third-party provider that requires vehicle planning, they won’t be able to accommodate late or same-day registrations. Please plan ahead. You can also drive your car or rent one to Suncadia. Rosetta Commons will not reimburse for these expenses.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Rosetta Commons is covering the cost of accommodations for Rosetta Commons member labs. Please indicate on the registration form if you need accommodation and for which days.
TRAVEL GRANTS
Rosetta Commons will issue limited travel grants to provide needs-based travel support. Personnel from recently established labs, international labs outside of the US, labs experiencing limited funding, and individuals without access to supported travel through their labs are highly encouraged to apply for a travel grant.
Wait until after you have received a decision on your travel grant application to register for the conference and make your travel arrangements. Announcements for travel grants will be made on a rolling basis. The final deadline to apply for a travel grant is June 10, 2025, but we encourage you to apply early.
Awardees will make travel arrangements through our travel agent. If you are applying for the award, please wait to make your travel arrangements until you hear from us.
Apply for a travel grant here (link).
DEPENDENT CARE APPLICATION
If you need financial help to care for your family while you’re away at the conference, complete the form here (link).
COMMUNICATIONS
We will use the Nunify conference app for regular conference communications. Download the app on your phone from the App Store or the Google Play Store. When you register for Rosetta Con, you will be automatically added to Nunify. Log in using the email address you used for conference registration. All information will also be available on the website, with a slight delay.
WORKSHOPS
Two trainee workshops will be held right before and after the conference. More information will be communicated shortly. Updates will also be available on both the Rosetta Commons website (link) and the conference website (link).
If you have any questions, please fill out the form on the contact page (link) to get directed to the person who can answer your question the best.
Sincerely, the organizers
