Summer 2026 Workshop Registrations Now Open
Two exciting week-long workshops this summer are now accepting applications.
On July 20 – 24, 2026, the ML & Rosetta Intro Bootcamp will be held at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. The bootcamp will be a blend of lectures and hands-on projects to introduce and then practice key concepts and skills with machine learning and Rosetta. Participants will gain a computational vocabulary, hands-on tool fluency, and conceptual framework to hit the ground running. The program is structured around the modern protein design pipeline, with physics-based methods (Rosetta) introduced before a focus on machine learning tools (structure prediction, backbone diffusion, and sequence design).
The workshop will include our 2026 – 2027 RaMP trainees, and is open to additional participants both within the Rosetta Commons community as well as non-members in academia and industry.
For more information and to apply, please visit the bootcamp’s website. The application deadline is June 5, 2026.
Then on August 17 – 21, 2026, the Leipzig Rosetta Workshop will take place in Leipzig, Germany. Organized by Leipzig University and the Meiler Lab at Vanderbilt University, the hands-on workshop is focused on the latest computational protein design methods using Rosetta and AI-based tools such as RFdiffusion and ProteinMPNN. Participants will work on applications such as enzyme design, binder development, and vaccine-related protein engineering. The workshop combines guided tutorials with time for independent exploration and discussion.
The workshop is open to researchers across all career stages and backgrounds, including students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and professionals from academia or industry. Participants with different perspectives and levels of experience who are interested in exploring or expanding their skills in protein design are invited to register.
For more information and to register, please visit the workshop’s website. The application deadline is July 1, 2026.
